Services and ordering

Which customization services do you offer?

We offer DTF printing, screen printing, vinyl printing and embroidery. Tell us your garment, design, quantity and deadline so we can recommend a suitable option. We customize ready-made garments rather than manufacturing clothing from scratch.

Do you offer DTG printing?

No. Wow! Custom Tees does not offer direct-to-garment (DTG) printing. We offer DTF, screen printing, vinyl printing and embroidery. Our DTG article is educational and explains how that method differs from the services available here.

Is there a minimum order?

There is no minimum order for our printing methods. We welcome a single custom piece as well as larger printing orders. We review the garment, design, quantity and deadline before confirming the method, price and completion time.

Can I order for a company, event or clothing brand?

Yes. We work with individuals, businesses, teams and clothing brands. Send your design, garment preferences, size breakdown, quantity and deadline. We can help you choose a suitable customization method and confirm the project details.

Timing

What does same-day mean?

Same-day means completing an accepted order during that same workday. Our routine same-day options are DTF and vinyl printing on suitable garments already in store or supplied by you. Availability depends on the order and production capacity. Confirm the completion time with us before relying on a deadline.

How is rush different from same-day?

Rush means a turnaround shorter than the standard time for the order. Same-day is the fastest form of rush because the work is needed that day. The available timing depends on the customization method, garment availability, artwork, quantity and production capacity.

Can my order be ready in 90 minutes?

Some suitable DTF or vinyl orders can often be completed in about 90 minutes when feasible. That is an estimate, not a guaranteed turnaround. Tell us the design, quantity, garments and exact deadline so we can assess the order and confirm a completion time.

Is there a same-day order cutoff?

Contact us as early as possible. Same-day availability depends on the work needed, garment availability and remaining production capacity. We confirm whether we can accept your order and when it can be ready.

Can you do same-day embroidery?

Same-day embroidery is not our standard service. Embroidery normally needs at least one day, including preparation of the digitized design file. If your deadline is urgent, contact us as early as possible so we can assess what is feasible. We confirm the turnaround for each accepted order.

Can you screen print an order the same day?

Screen printing is not our routine same-day option because the screens and ink need preparation. Next-day completion is the earliest possible turnaround, not a guarantee. For suitable garments needed today, ask about DTF or vinyl printing.

What is the standard turnaround time?

Our standard turnaround is 10 to 14 days. We confirm the completion time for your specific order after reviewing the method, artwork, garment availability and quantity. Tell us the date and time you need the finished work. If your deadline is urgent, ask us to assess rush availability.

Can a large order be completed the same day?

There is no single quantity cutoff for every same-day request. What is feasible depends on the design, garments, method and production capacity. Large orders may need more time. Send the complete quantity and deadline before making pickup or event plans.

Garments and inventory

Can I bring my own garments?

Yes. Share the garment type, material and desired design placement before bringing it in. We review whether it is suitable for the requested customization before accepting the order. Supplying a garment does not by itself guarantee same-day availability.

What if my preferred garments are not in store?

We can review sourcing options and timing, but garments ordered from a supplier cannot arrive the same day. A supplier order placed before the usual cutoff may be eligible for next-day arrival, subject to availability and shipping delays. We confirm the plan for your order.

Can every fabric be printed or embroidered?

Not every garment works with every method. Material, coatings, construction, seams and the design placement can affect suitability. Send garment details or a photo of the label so we can review the item and recommend an available option.

Artwork

Does my artwork need to be print-ready?

No. Send the artwork or idea you have, and our team can help with preparation. Tell us the intended design size, placement and garment. We review what is needed and include preparation when confirming the quote and turnaround.

What files should I send?

Send the clearest original design file you have, along with the intended size and placement. If you only have an image or an unfinished idea, send that so we can review it. We will tell you whether additional preparation or a different file is needed for the chosen method.

What is embroidery digitizing?

Digitizing prepares a design file with the stitching instructions needed for machine embroidery. It is a preparation step before stitching, not simply an image conversion. We review the design, requested size, placement and garment as part of confirming the order.

Can I reuse an existing embroidery file?

Send the file you have, the design size and the garment details. We need to review whether it is suitable for the requested work before confirming preparation, pricing and timing.

Pickup and shipping

Where is your shop?

Our only shop is in Midtown Manhattan's Garment District. We do not have separate branches in the other boroughs or New Jersey. Customers can visit for pickup, arrange their own courier or request customer-paid shipping.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. You can pick up at our Midtown Manhattan shop. Confirm that the order is ready before traveling, especially if you are working to a deadline.

Can an Uber or courier collect my order?

Yes. You arrange and pay for the courier or Uber pickup. Let us know when the driver is on the way and again when the driver arrives so we can coordinate the handoff. Confirm that the order is ready before sending the driver.

Can you ship my order?

Yes. We can ship orders, with shipping paid by the customer. Tell us the destination and deadline so we can discuss the available shipping method. Production completion and delivery time are separate.

Do you ship internationally?

We can ship internationally. Shipping is paid by the customer, and delivery timing depends on the selected shipping method. Contact us with the destination and deadline so we can review the plan.

Does same-day production mean same-day delivery?

No. Same-day production refers to when the accepted customization work is completed. Pickup, customer-arranged courier collection and shipping are separate arrangements. Confirm both production and fulfillment when planning around your deadline.

Products

Do you make jackets from scratch?

No. We customize ready-made jackets rather than manufacturing jackets from scratch. Bring your own jacket or tell us the style you need so we can review suitable garment and decoration options.

Can you customize jerseys with names and numbers?

Send the jersey material, design, names, numbers, size breakdown and deadline. We can review the garments and discuss suitable customization options. We confirm the method and placement before accepting the order.

Can you customize tote bags?

Send the tote style, material, design placement, quantity and deadline. We can review the bag and discuss suitable customization and sourcing options. Not every material or construction works with every method.

Can I request repeat or replacement orders?

Yes. Send the previous order details, artwork and the pieces you need now. We review current garment availability, customization requirements, pricing and timing before confirming the new order.

Pricing and quotes

How much does customization cost?

The quote depends on the garments, quantity, design size and placement, customization method, preparation and deadline. Send your project details so we can review the work and provide an order-specific quote.

Is there an extra charge for rush work?

Tell us your deadline when requesting a quote. We will confirm whether rush production is available and include the applicable pricing in the quote before accepting the order.

What should I include in a quote request?

Include your artwork or idea, garment preference or supplied-garment details, design size and placement, quantity and size breakdown, exact deadline, and pickup or shipping preference. If you are unsure about the best method, ask us to recommend an option.

Care

How long will my customization last?

Results depend on the garment, customization method, application and care. Ask for care guidance for your finished order and follow the garment's label as well. We do not promise a fixed number of washes or lifetime durability for every item.

Still have a question?

Send your design or idea, garment details, quantity and deadline. We will review the project and confirm the available options. Request a quote.
