Six Steps to Plan Your Custom T-Shirt

1. Decide what the shirt is for
Tell us whether the project is a personal gift, event, brand release or team order. Think about the look and intended use so the garment and design work together.
Gather inspiration before settling on a design. Which messages, images or themes matter to you? A clear concept will guide your choices.
2. Choose or describe the garment
Share the style, color and material you want. If you will supply your own shirt, send the item details so suitability can be reviewed. If you need blanks, availability and sourcing affect timing.
Consider the neckline, sleeve length and overall fit, as well as comfort and intended use. Send the actual garment details rather than relying on a generic fabric recommendation.
3. Send your design or idea
Use the clearest original artwork you have. It does not have to be print-ready. Tell us what needs changing or preparing and the result you want.
A sketch or a design made with graphics software can help communicate the idea. Explain which elements matter most and what you want to change; this does not require a particular online design tool.
4. Specify size and placement
Tell us how large the design should be and where it should go. Photos or a placement reference can help explain the request, but the actual garment needs review.
5. Confirm quantities and deadline
Include the size breakdown and exact need-by time. There is no minimum for printing. Same-day is normally eligible DTF or vinyl with garments on hand and capacity available, not a promise for every order.
6. Plan fulfillment and request a quote
Choose Midtown pickup, customer-arranged courier collection or customer-paid shipping. Send the full details so WCT can confirm the available method, price and completion time.
Common questions
Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order for our printing methods. We welcome a single custom piece as well as larger printing orders. We review the garment, design, quantity and deadline before confirming the method, price and completion time.
What does same-day mean?
Same-day means completing an accepted order during that same workday. Our routine same-day options are DTF and vinyl printing on suitable garments already in store or supplied by you. Availability depends on the order and production capacity. Confirm the completion time with us before relying on a deadline.
Can I bring my own garments?
Yes. Share the garment type, material and desired design placement before bringing it in. We review whether it is suitable for the requested customization before accepting the order. Supplying a garment does not by itself guarantee same-day availability.
Does my artwork need to be print-ready?
No. Send the artwork or idea you have, and our team can help with preparation. Tell us the intended design size, placement and garment. We review what is needed and include preparation when confirming the quote and turnaround.
What should I include in a quote request?
Include your artwork or idea, garment preference or supplied-garment details, design size and placement, quantity and size breakdown, exact deadline, and pickup or shipping preference. If you are unsure about the best method, ask us to recommend an option.
